Lakefront homes for sale Livingston County Michigan

There were 46 lakefront homes that sold in Livingston County during the months of December 2012 and January 2013.  They were on the market an average of  138 days before they sold.  Some of the homes were rentals.  That is why the one price was $890.  It was a $890 a month rental.  There was even one home that sold for over 1.4 million.

Clark Lake homes Commerce MI

There were only 2 Clark Lake homes that sold in Commerce Michigan in 2012.  These two lakefront homes took an average of 120 days to sell.

Clark Lake homes in Commerce Township are from the 1950's to the 1970's era.  The majority of the lakefront homes are smaller brick ranches and colonials.  Many of the lakefront homes are under 2000 square feet.  But the range of square footage of the lakefront homes are 1300 square foot to about 2800 square foot.  You won't find the old wood lakefront cottages on this lake.  Those old 700 to 900 square foot cottages are not on this lake.   Some Clark Lake front homes were built later in the  1980's and 1990's.

Lake Sherwood in Commerce Township Michigan is a man made lake that is not very deep.  Many people like the lake because it is relatively close to the highway compared to many other Oakland County lakes.  Another reason Lake Sherwood homes are liked is because the lake real estate is very similar.  This is one Oakland County lake that you will not find old lake cottages on.  This is one lake that you will not find a beautiful house next to a dumpy house.  Most of the lakefront homes on Lake Sherwood are brick homes.
